Weapon Mutator!!!

hi everybody!
so i would like to know if The Free Monkey have thought to create a mutator for use the xmp weapon in ut2k4, because some people have tried to do so but it's not very great! and i and a lot of other people would like a good conversion of this weapon for roxx under ut2k4 (for ons or as for example).
personnaly i think it's the most beautifull weapons i have ever seen in a S-F game!
please! please make it!!!!

Here's a thought:

Replace supply packs with a healing-only Link Gun, such that gunners can use it to reammo ppl, rangers to heal, and techs to repair shields AND VEHICLES. Maybe just as a mutator or something.

You can already do that by pressing use on someone. The supply packs are mostly there to use for yourself.

which would be no good for gunner
i have had an arti and used up ALL my rockets and nades becasue the supply packs are not online :/ so that would be a bad moveas gunners would be useless

That would indeed make a gunner useless, except:
1). if supply packs are offline you couldn't capture an arti anyway
2). your m8s should have your back
3). there are always (well, usually) supply stations
4). Gunners do other things besides running artis, which I think would count as being useFUL
5). your running artis as a GUNNER?!?

What exactly does Gunners do that makes them highly useful or atleast useful? The only thing thye got going for them is ammo packs...

What about being able to “use” a vehicle to repair it. Yes, I realize it’s already been mentioned but hold on a sec.

You have to be within a certain area to actually hit “use”, in order to enter the veh & drive off. Let’s say that area is within 5 feet of the veh. What about making another area, lets say from 5 ft out to 10 ft (just an example), in which you can hit “use” & the veh can be repaired, but you couldn't enter the veh to drive it until you got within 5 ft still. Could something like that work?

... um... they kill things?

While I play a lot of defense as a tech, there are times when I actually find the gunner's weaponry more useful for defending a node or other strategic point. For example, rockets are quite handy for setting off, oh, say, 4 or 5 land mines clustered together near where the nice man is walking. :D

It could work. Not sure about coding it. It would be confusing as hell, however.
Maybe if you "use" a vehicle while the supply pack is selected? Kinda confusing as well though....

One of the most frustrating things was the slow vulnerable Juggy. Its understandable that it is slow, its a tank, but do you think you could a lot add more armor so that a damn ranger can't run up on top of it and take it out with a few shots from the stinger?

Aswell the Juggys flamethrower range should be increased by roughly 20%, whats the point of a flamer when you have to xlose to such a range you cna just roll over the enemy instead aswell its limited firing arch limits its usefullness...
