dont know if you can check the 3rd person view on the m203, i think the inf guy holds the barrel though the 203 instead of holding the 203 - no big deal, might be something easily fixed so thought i'd mention it

meeba, you're talking about the A2 in 3rd person. The A4 has its position framed a bit better.

I didn't say the dot should be bigger, I said it should be a bit more chromatic and luminescent, like the MP5 sight. The MP5 dot is a lot bigger, yes, but you can at least see it on most maps. Just looks a little washed out on the M-16 is all.

Also, shouldn't the suppressor be a little bit longer as well? Seems kinda small.

Anyone got first hand experience with the reflex site or the suppressor?

No offense crack, but "Seems too small" and "Is too small" are too differant things. I'll try to look up some photos to get a good comparison.

Yeah, it just looks small to me because I use the MP5 aimpoint. However, I do think it should be brighter and now, I guess amber ;) . Anyway, the gun is turning out nicely. Hopefully the servicemen can chime in here and explain what to fix better than I can. I was under the impression that a reflex sight eliminated the need for irons all together. Having the dot line up with the front sight seems kinda redundant. I always thought the irons were out of the view of the dot. :confused:

if you are having trouble with version mismatches , do this.

download the gun,make a loadout with it.

after you make a load for it, go back and delete the files.

now you have a loadout with it.INF will automaticly take the correct version from your cache.if you dont have it in your cache, go download it from a server.you wont be able to make anymore loadouts with it until you reinstall it, so make a couple so you wont need to.

there is a couple bugs with it.harmless fire bugs and it turns one map totally white (i think its flagstaff, the subway TDM map) but im sure youve been told about that already.

Don't know if i should mention this here but i had a loadout made, i added a frag grenade later and saved again. Now everytime when i spawn i'm holding the nade instead of the primary weapon (m16a4)

Major Bug

Yesterday we found a bug on SG TDM server on Flagstaff. After someone has fired a burning nade all became white(see screens) and the next round when we started some of us burned.

The gun is great but I do not like the incendiary nades. You need to make a way for them to be disabled server side. And I don't like the Duke Nukem "Ahh" sound either. :(

Weeeird. The mutator doesn´t appear in the mutator list. Yes, i have installed it in the right directory, and i have the new40mm from yurch. I was saying "weird" because the other weapon from duke, the xm8, works without problems in my machine (in other words, it appears in the mutator list).

Hehe, that reminds of that snow map with the elevator lift that takes you up on top of the middle mountain... that's a bug that happens when the fire hits elevator movers. Somehow it messes with the lifespan and the flame keeps expanding indefinitely. So, in the flagstaff case, i'm guessing someone shot at the trains :p

As for the burning-while-not-really-burning... i made all the flame spawning server side only and i didn't see it happen at all lastnight! I didn't see you on the server after shan updated it with the current version blitz, i think you were on the previous
