Wrong Brizz. Those people just did'nt buy it, so no reason to complain, cause they were'nt blinded by fanboiness enough to get burned AGAIN. No offense to you, it's your job kinda to buy UT3.

It's not my job to buy UT3... but I did... and I love it.

I acknowledge it's not the perfect game... but frankly it's better than most of the games out there.

I'm wondering -- people say I'm blinded by 'fanboiness' and take **** as it's given to me... I'm wondering if its more that the complainers are blinded by 'fanboiness' and expect nothing but diamond-crusted-platinum from Epic because that's what you're used to (after dozens of patches, mods, and bonus packs) -- but have lowered expectations for everyone else because non-Epic developers typically feed us complete and total horse**** like Battlefield 2 which not only was glitchy on launch... but got MORE glitchy as it was patched. But that's fine because EA is known for releasing crap... ... ...?

Are you kidding me? UT3 couldn't even make the top 20 in a month when ZERO good games for the PC were released? Now if that doesn't say a lot about how bad in many ways UT3 is I don't know what does. And remember I like the game. But CliffyB is just plain wrong about what he said and that is a fact I don't care who gets pissed off at me. Instead of just saying we screwed up Epic should have been taking care of business in the first place damn it! I mean as a fan when I see this I can't help but hit the roof ... two months after its release and it is still losing to much older games and other shooters to boot! Man oh man ... there was a time an Epic game would have been in at least the top 10 ... but to not even make the top 20??? Wow ... just wow. BF2 ranked higher than UT3 ... Epic what have you done with this once mighty franchise? Yeah I am playing it but this hurts ... it really hurts. And also no Gears huh ... so no Epic games are doing well ... the once proud kings of the PC shooters can't get its two biggest IPs in the top 20 ... damn.

I really don't understand why everyone is getting their panties in such a bunch over all of this. UT3 is a game and Epic is a company who makes games. If the games that Epic makes aren't good I won't buy them. If they are I will buy them. It's as simple as that.

TBH some of you really need to find something else to be loyal to other than a game company. This is not the be-all-end-all of human existence and quite frankly Epic owes you nothing. Not even an explanation. If you don't like what they have done move along.

I made an observation based on some facts ... if that gets you so bent out of shape maybe it is you should move along. I already said I play the game a great deal. It seems like this would be shocking to any fan of the series I would think but definitely it is shocking to me that the game is so low on the PC gaming totem pole. This is Epic and the mighty UE3 ... if this is the best gaming engine around and they are the experts on how to employ this great technology then it just seems insane that not one of their games made the list. You don't find that the least bit odd or a little troublesome for those of us who want to continue to see the series evolve on the PC?

Observation or obsession?
I'm not bent out of shape about anything so you can remove that chip off of your shoulder. I'm not attacking anyone here. I have my own problems with UT3 but it's not life changing for me. If you think you can change the world by having Epic bow to your whims then so be it. But to put things into perspective Epic is in the business to make money and they changed once Gears made it big. That defined the direction they are going in. If you had the opportunity to make a ton of cash making games what market would you shoot for?
