Psych, when I got back from a long absense I too noticed Duke was hated and I had no idea why. Till I played him online, and I noticed 2 things. First, he was abusing every bug there was in the game. Second, he was an *******. So from that point on I pretty much agreed with the rest of the community on him.
Oh my. Although I haven't played INF in quite a while I feel very sad for those two fools. A little less for Taque as he's just been too weak to stand where he went prone. But Duke is such an utterly disgraceful person I can't barely stand the thought.
I wished there was more link to real life in the online world sometimes.

Ugh... I did have the impression that Taque was caught on only a few occasions because he was rather incidental to the whole cheating thing, but I just realised that the redeemer nade feature is a m203 nade not a hand grenade.
I don't know about everyone else, but I've spent whole evenings getting repeatedly wiped out by Taque's nades, of which he seemed to be carrying a surprisingly large amount. F*ck him too then.

Maybe I am missing something, but why not use the G36 if you like it?
Anyway this whole deal led me to 2 questions. First being unimportant, since when did duke (and others) cheat like this? Were the suspicions during 2.86 (other than the bug abuse) right, or not? There probably isn't a way of figuring this out and IMO it isn't that important. Besides, he wasn't that good back then anyway.
Another question would be the obvious one, are there any others? I'm not sure, it sure would make things risky. The more people know about something, the bigger the chance of someone 'telling'. So if there are others then surely there won't be more than 2, then again there might as well be no one else cheating like this so going on a quest to find and burn the witches is over the top.
Oh well, good luck to the admins, they are probably the only ones being able to answer that second question. Well, Duke and Taque as well. But I wonder what their word is worth after this.

When your head coder is suspect of cheating - why would you check his code to ensure that it's clean? That's just crazy-talk!
As for the XM8? Who gives a shit. It wasn't very well researched at all, and it doesn't belong in INF because of that. For Christs sakes, he used the redeemer reticle for the reflex sight. Call me crazy, but I don't think people should be modeling guns unless they: 1) Have an outstanding amount of reference materials and 2) Have actually held / fired the weapon they are working on.

After this sick trojan-like trick in a release of the Infiltration Mod Team , noticing this message from Almost saying that one of the sad individual in question in this thread has put his hands in the Sentry Studios bonus pack when it was being under development, does the same kind of trojan-like trick have been applied to it ?

Well, I don't think Duke was cheating that much in the TDM days. He was abusing map bugs and was being an ******* most of the time. But I remember when I was playing INF online everyday that I would often beat him. He was not even on par with Madwoffen at that time. Only after that he became very agressive and arrogant and was suspected of using an aim bot.

Yes, I suggested immeidately that we should check out the Bonus pack to. I already started just for fun actually. We (the INFMOD Team) are also in the process of going through the whole code we have. We are testing corrections to the weapon pack as I type this and, hopefully, we'll have a "clean" version very soon. But before we release, the code will be cross checked a couple of times and by different coders.

Probably not. Again, there are people working on it right now. The thing is, discovering this took extensive sleuthing, most of which was done during the match by our Euro compatriots. There's no real way of going back and checking on 2.86...something that would be a bit of a waste of time anyways since it really has absolutely no meaning as it pertains to 2.9.
