its almost a shame there arent more biorifles and rippers, cause that really would be ubercool.....
No problemo, amigo!
If there are not enough weapons we can add them to the release version! It'd be cool to be able to randomize them just to experiment with, to put some object called "random weapon" so every time it spawns you get different weapon and ammos. And it's be also cool to rotate the weapons players have with time, like every 20 seconds or so. Who knows, mabe someone picks up that idea and become rich and famous one day :)

my favorite map is CTF-orbital... it requires a lot of teamplay and is well balanced in the gamestyle (with redeemer off)

i also enjoy playing Terra because the floorplan is something new and it plays very nice...

although i don't play on public servers... i'm talking about clanwars...

Well, playing the same map over and over is very self-limiting. I mean, of course every one may have a favorite map which does not mean he plays it all the time. But since you can always turn off the redeemer and play by your own rules in clanwars, what is eventually your problem? You know what they say: "all methods are good in the war". In real life would you care about all the rules and conventions when you see a platoon coming at you and all you have is a huge anti-infantry rocket and a pistol and all your platoon is dead? You don't have to limit yourself to a certain map with certain rules and with a certain group of people. I know some people like that but they still play other games. That's a way of learning something new in a sence. Is not that a purpose of life eventually? And therefore purepose of any game you play in your life?

Each question separately:
games have nothing to do with the real live...
Before starting a new thread for discussing that, let me know how far are you ready to chase that idea. I have things to do, you know...

and i see clanwars more as a sport than as a "war"... fun comes out of FAIRNESS!!!
I support fairness by all means! if your team gets a huge rocket and my team gets the same huge rocket, that's fair enough for me. Any objections?

so your viewpoint: everything is allowed, aimbots, wallahacks cheats... stuff
Don't be such a cry-baby. There is danger everywhere in this world. You probably know that even better than me. That's why you have to get a driving licence and respect the traffic lights. There is no way of being absolutely secure these days. We have to live with it. Too bad there are cheaters - get an antihack software. Secure your server, put it behind the firewall. But you'll never achieve absolute security, unless of course you make a local network for you and your friends only. Event local networks are hard to secure. And again it's impossible to be absolutely secure in this world. Good luck if you prefer to limit your gaming world as a trade off for maximum security. This is something each person have to decide for himself. But then, what does it all still have to do with DM_CloudWarDemo? You're drawing me off the topic again.
Regards.

OMG

you said that you think everything is allowed in a Clanwar... i say... NOT... coz it is NOT fun to allow everything... games have to be limited to be fair (coz of aimbots and stuff) and then you tell me how i can protect my server...

where's the sence?

DavidM:
I see you've done a study of this whole thread, andtherefore the essay you wrote deserves particular attention!
->First note, Would you please indicate my quotes in it? There are rules about plagiarism the governments made to protect copyright, thank you very much.
->Just curious why do you think that I'm russian?
->you wrote:
everyone should download this map, especially hardcore players for a great map, wich will totaly fits their needs.
Oh, thank you! I couldn't say better myself! :)
->When making open-area maps you still have to worry about the geometry and lighting a lot, for simple maps quicly get overloaded with graphics and give lover frame per second rates.
Not all people have Athlon 1900, me personally - I don't have one :(
->how did you count the boxes? :)
-> If you want I'll put rainbows in the sky and paint the rock with nice bright colors for best gaming pleasure to the player's eye!
-> More sounds are coming in the release!
The rest is just great! Thanks a lot for suck a good work!

Best wishes,

AlexanderII
