Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

@Akuma&David Glad to see you saw sense, this map relly does own. So does the review David, you should work for some 1337 review site like Chainsaw.
@ AlexanderII Have you ever considered joining a mapping team. I recommend www.planetunreal.com/ai , some of their maps are relly good (and I mean EPIC quality). OK so maybe they are more experienced but they can help you learn to make even better maps like theirs.

I thank all of those who took their time to read the thread and put their comments here! It's been a lot of fun to read them!
Well there are lots of other Duke3d multyplayer maps out there!
I have about 150 of them in my Duke3d folder. And in my collection (which I took from the Internet) there's only 230 maps starting with "A". Maybe they aren't up to standard today, but many of them do have "z"-action and one can take some map as an exaple and then make a map that fits today's requirements based on that map. That's good because although maybe Duke3d maps lack in graphics, but they compensate it in gameplay! And now we have a chance to use the gameplay and improve on graphics and special effects, thus using something old to make something new and fun!
Me, myself, I'm not too much into mapping. I'm a linux programmer. But I also like (maybe even more) to play the piano. So mapping haven't been not my favorite so far. It's fun sometimes, but not all the time. That's why the work on the map is so slow - I just rarely sit down to continue on it.
I wish you all happy fragging! And I hope there'll be more cool maps from Duke3d in Unreal Tournament! I miss some of them so much!

I didn't download the map. Im not going to download the map.
At the begining of the thread I might have. I am open minded.(at least I think so heh heh )
but then I started to read the thread... At first Hour, and others tryed to help by pointing out some flaws in your map, you responded by saying they were wrong and that your map needs not these things... ok fine your intitled to your opinion.
You an Hours get into a debacle about the strtegies of the game. COOL! I always love a good debate
BUT! your ALL your responses were the same.you kept repeating yourself through out the whole thread
THIS is why I will not download your map. you are close minded and not willing to listen to others ideas, or help.

I don't want to offend you, but to be totally honest, to me you are just one of those closed-minded people who are ready to judge something without knowing what you are talking about. I know that I've said that many times so far, but this is a "play testing" section, if you don't want to play test, you should go to the "BeyondUnreal Forums > Community > Nali City > Nali City - Map Making > Showcase > Cloud Wars" and say what you think there. And if this offends you, I'm sorry, but I'm getting tired myself of worseless comments like: "I didn't play this map but it is totally no good". A comment like that is no help to me. Do you follow? For, I did playtest the maps Hourences found me. And I don't just post messages, I do the mapping as well and I do many other things. Don't you think that I'm so limited, that I'm good only for talking in the forums.

the fact is that hourences is THE guy to help you an map making. I give a lot on his opinion since he is the guy who has a specil feeling for that... by not listening to him you started the whole thing. look out for some of his maps to prove how wrong you were...

You said I was close minded becuase I said I'd download the map but didn't. You must have missunderstood me, I SAID: I 'MIGHT' have. I DIDN't becuase of the way you were acting towards the peeps in this community, whom were just trying to help you out. So infact I WAS open to the map but YOU closed my mind by acting in a juvenile manner.

I never said anything even remotly close to this INFACT I never said anything about the quality of your map. I simply stated that I wouldn't download it becuase of your attitute.
??? are you saying Im not entitled to my opinion? you can be open minded and still have an opinion ya know. just becuase I have an unwavering opinion on the matter doesn't make me closed minded, I still let you have your don't i? The fact that you think I should change my opinion to match yours shows that you are close minded.
