Anyway...back on topic, after about 50 posts :p

How about grenade kicking, yurch? Like, you could take the movement vector of the player and add it to the grenade if it's sitting on the ground. You know, don't make it go too far with a kick, but maybe enough to boot it around a corner if one lands nearby and you have the time.

Ahem... From here

Dig two grenade sumps in the floor (one on each end). If the enemy throws a grenade into the hole, kick or throw it into one of the sumps. The sump will absorb most of the blast. The rest of the blast will be directed straight up and out of the hole.

That's what I'm interested in; a little, very short movement.

Stupid question, but how do you get the stats for a thread?

Back on topic, is there anyway to channel the blast from the nades such as when they're in a corner or a confined space. Do they do that now?

Nade soccer sounds like fun :)

Actually I'd rather see ballistics before grenade kicking. I know it doesn't matter too much for most maps (especially for the rifles), but on the rare maps like Island, it certainly matters. Also, it's not too uncommon to see people shooting pistols, shotguns, and smg's at ranges where the trajectory would not be so flat. Of course, we would need adjustable sights, screw guessing and aiming above the target ;)

edit: well, adjustable sights on the rifles anyhow. i guess yer outta luck with combat pistols =b and btw, it would matter in some cases - going from 200 to 300 yards with either the .223 or .308 you need to come up 3 minutes (6 clicks on national match sights), and for 600 another 12 minutes - 3 minutes at 300 yards can be the difference between a head shot and missing. 12 minutes at 600 yards and you are just plain missing =b
