Vengeance is just a sweet side effect of the action I suggested. The true purpose
of the action I outlined above is to prevent similar events in the future.
Quick, decisive, deadly, unrestrained action tells the worlds cowardly terrorist
that if you attack the US or our allies there will be a heavy price to pay. It also
tells the nations of the world that if you harbor such cowards, you have
effectively declared war on the US, and there will be a heavy price to pay.

A crime against humanity!
I came back from holiday and expected to post happy messages but sadly the events of today have overtaken us. As somebody from the other side of the pond I can only say that my heart goes out to the American people. What has happened today is crime not only against the USA but everyone on this earth. All I can say that is you have my condolences to anyone who might have relatives or friends involved these awful events. The British media has from since about 3pm GMT been filled with terrible images and words coming from the States. The radio stations are marking this tragedy with respect. We are thinking of you America!

I was near the explosion in Enschede(the Netherlands) it wiped away 500 houses , but these recent attacks are worse then anyone could imagine.

I’ve just returned from work and have seen the pictures on TV – truly shocking. It would seem these terrorists have used the US weaker security for internal flights to devastating effect. My condolences go out to everyone involved.
This has been a highly organised attack and I still think bin laden has got to be a prime suspect. He has over the past few years been funding the training of a number of anti-American movements and he may well be the key connection in this. This has been in planning for a while. It’s relatively easy to whip up some kid into a frenzy, wrap a bomb around his waist and get him to run into a restaurant. It’s slightly more difficult to train at least 4 people (more if you want to allow for redundancy) to fly an airliner, get them into the US and co-ordinate attacks in such a way.

Oh, I know they'll build something up again, but it won't be the same as seeing the Twin Towers. They were quite the monument.
Well, hold on to the pics of the towers, cause our kids won't know how beautiful they were. Sure, they'll be in the history books as one of the wrost events of terrorism ever, but seeing a pic is just not like looking straight up from the base of them.
I'm almost sure they had support by governments like Syria, Beirut, Iraq...
