Why the low UT3 adoption?

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
Damn, some of you guys make me laugh! Writing a game off cause it doesn't have dodge jump.. install a mutator on your own server or go play spiderman. Cache size take 2 seconds to sort, edit some text with notepad or download the cache convertor!
The problem seems to be, we all like the idea of UT3 but we spend more time bitching about it on forums instead of filling servers actually playing it.
If you dont like UT3, go away and play something else. Its the minority that is killing our UT cause all the new peeps are listening.. We are at patch 2.1 with awesome new custom content and game modes coming along all the time, we can turn this around if we choose! Just PLAY MORE! Aim to get in the top 100 players world wide!

not sure thats such a good idea. because the people who want to make it into the top 100 are mostly those who spawncamp, exploit and lame to get there.
rather try to get good games and good fun out of the game.

The stats top 100 are definitely not the top players by any means. The stats are quite worthless in that respect.
If we are so enthusiastic about the game, why don't we just play it?
Currently I am watching games being played on YouTube. Anyone know of any good UT3 matches that can be viewed somewhere? Quake Live have a lot of that going on. Players there show some incredible skills for sure.

I honestly can't believe how anyone in their right mind could pick Quake Live or any other game over UT3.
I played HOLP3 Vol 1 today and playing against Inhuman bots is entertaining and challenging. The gameplay and action is just over the top. Visuals are stunning as usual, even at the low poly level.

Ahahaha. I was playing Jailbreak 99 and I LITERALLY just came on to make some comment about them deciding to make Greed an official gametype instead of Jailbreak.
Not that greed's BAD or anything but I mean it's fairly simple and really just a variant of Harvester. Jailbreak is, in a sense, just a variant of LMS, but it actually adds a significant layer of depth, whereas greed... is pretty much just harvester only the Collectable Thing pops up over the dead dude instead of at the middle of the map.

And instead of the anti-fun crowd whining about the game we've got the ones that want to play the game wasting time on the forums as well.
UT 3 failed ... not because the game was bad, but because we're all lazy sob's that would rather post about it than play or change it into whatever we want to play.
Consolized : when real arguments fail this is the word used to describe what is bad without having to provide any examples as the word is supposed to be enough.

I have discovered that most features actually are there in the game, you just have to look hard enough. For instance you will need to download a small program to be able to launch the game from say a forum post in your web browser. Not a big deal, but it sure ain't automatic.
Oh, and that people getting upset over games having similarities with the console counterpart. It's not a big deal, you still have your mouse and keyboard.
