Looks cool, but are you supposed to be jumping through that wormhole tunnel or does it pull you forwards? Because it looks like real pain to get on the other side if there is no low grav or anything.

Well I've just released the map so you can try it if you want :)

Got my terrain, snow platform, and ice pond in place, now I need to add some shanties and shacks to place some interesting player starts, weapons, and health, etc... It's a Siberian village that I'm putting together, so of course it's a Tundra Desert, although calling this DM-ArcticGhetto may probably fit in somewhere, we'll see. Just gotta figure out how to set the shanty village, and where.

Something to keep in mind what I noticed in your other map: Rotate the player starts so they don't face a wall. Because that's annoying. In Galacticus Prime they were all facing +x as per default so some would spawn you looking/running into a wall.

The orange just makes it look like a setting sun, which I think looks good, you could also try adding some purples too

Well, don't forget that I'm just playing around with terrain ideas and how to make a North Pole/South Pole-type map. I added in howling winds and blizzard effects into that, too...I plan to make the outdoor area larger yet, since I'm shooting for a vehicular deathmatch map, could go either Warfare or VCTF with this, stay tuned.

EDIT: See? Told ya I was gonna make the map bigger and more daylight to boot, as well as more driveable terrain. Hopefully not blindingly bright, since I'm dealing with a 16000x16000 platform (had to make it large enough to hold some decent vehicle elbow room) now, had to calculate the light somehow.

Yeah, well, I'm definitely gonna have different ideas for player starts here... they're gonna all be facing the flat part of the arena (the playable area), and it'll be a 4-player vehicle deathmatch (each station will have four possible player starts, to keep with that "minimum of 16" rule), most likely. Each player start area will have its own weapon locker, vehicle garage, health and armor station, and powerup station. So you won't have to worry much. I have the taller, steeper terrain in the back there, so that nobody accidentally drives or runs out into the void area.

EDIT: Speaking of the terrain, I took a test drive in a Hellbender to see how well vehicles would do on the lower, shallower terrain, and needless to say, it wasn't really all that bad. This should be a pretty good matchup if you can climb the shallower terrain from the snow base:

And another shot. Hard to make decent shots with the checkerboard stuff left and the tightness of the rooms. No real overview much.
EDIT: or 2.
