P31.2 - is that the Talatin? Out of interest, what decided you against the P4?

I'm into making music - that's why I have been away from the f0's a bit these last few days - needing to get those last few bits out of the cpu meant I had to be off the web.
P4's have been getting a bit of a slating at the Cubase forums So P3's are the thing to go for. Most are going for 1gig. What was the basis of your research? I'm still int he stage of putting my thoughts together so I appreciate andy thoughts you have on the matter:)

The cpu in my pc right now is a p3 800.. maybe I like p3's?
I could've gone for the amd athlon 1.3 though...combined with an abit mobo right?

ANyway, it's a great computer and i'm really aching for it's arrival :D
Upgrading.. upgrade.. or die.. it's true you know :-S

Hmm - Re today's terrorist attak - I think I'm feeling very shaken, but I'm kind of putting it to the back of my mind.

Something our Prime Minister said .. I's not about America against terrorists, it's about all free countries of the world against terrorists.

My secret fear that I'm trying to put away is the possibility that we might be on the brink of WW3. I remember how I was feeling when there was the push against Saddam Hussein a few years ago. This is kind of similar.
