No, nor at RealMaps. zeep, if you can share it, please do. If not, give me a yell and I can sort out somewhere for you to upload it.

As for the message saying you're in the cap zone, I'll have a look at making it like an EAS capture area, so you get messages saying you've entered or are exiting the area, and the countdown timer and number of players needed. After I get the HUD mutator working.

Hmm. Were one to recode DTAS from scratch, it might be quite neat to have a DTAS control area object subclassed from an EAS ControlPoint object.

But you're not going to do that, so as you were.

Shan, i just got back from your server and somehow all dtas messages prompt double.
e.g.
You are defending
You are defending

That goes for mutate tasstatus aswell as dtas messages. I havent been on for some time so this might be a know thing already. It probably is.
Anyway.. nite.

Thats because DTAS has been forever ruined as we know it.
...in my opinion.

Its intentional, it was some sort of double-game where there are two flags and two fags to defend the... nevermind.

LOL Dere.

The problem is that the WebServer runs DTAS twice when when it restarts now that Multi-mut shows in the Mutators list unless you remember to remove it before restarting....unfortunately, I often forget. :)

I will restart it and that problem will go away. Sorry.

I am in the process of redoing both the DTAS and TDM map lists, so I will add it and try it out.

Now that you mentioned that, i'm going to pretend you care about my opinion:
TDM maps are worst when you have to 'wander' alot without any focus (Woodward, Siberia, Archives to an extent...). Maps with a central point, or "focus" (the elevator on Flight127, the roof on CrimeWarehouse) are usually much more fun. Even if they dont have a focus, but are small enough that you dont have to wander (DesertRaid_INF), they can still be quite fun.

In other words, don't get rid of my favorite maps :D

Definately Vietnam. Best DTAS map ever made.

Generally, I like more open and large maps that involves tactics and "sneaky" behavior, not the maps where you instantly need to start spraying rounds and hope you survive the same hail of bullets from the opponent side. Maps without the same chokepoints every round. Andes might be good for TDM, but it stinks for DTAS as an example. Same thing can be said about that city map where teams spawn in eachothers direct line of fire 50% of the time.

Well, in my opinion anyway.

Yeah it sucks when you spawn into an instant firefight. Whats the point?

Great. Thanks Shan!

A few others that might be worth taking a look at while we're at it :

DM-INF-BlackWater_TAS.unr
DM-INF-TAS-Norwich.unr
DM-INF-KosovoNight.unr
DM-INF-CubanDawn.unr

Also, there was this map that the AFA server used to reset to whenever it crashed. I sorta liked that map. I just can't bring myself to remember the name of the map.

Yeah, I know they are old. So I'm taking the liberty of suggesting a few of the new maps too :

Tuscany
Iraq
Border Town

I know some will disagree, but all of the above mentioned are great maps in my opinion.

I'll have to disagree with:

Tuscany
Iraq
Border Town
Norwich
Blackwater

because these are all wandering maps (unless you are suggesting DTAS). Any map in which you have to "sneak" and use "tactics" without some minute sort of objective turns out to be really boring.
