Thats not really true. While Aimpoints aren't used
really close to the eye, the G36K is aimed more like it was originally than how crowze has it.
The main problem isn't the distance between eye and optic.
The problem is that the current view is only from what the right eye sees. CCB sights are used with both eyes open. So the view should be of what the left eye sees, not the right. Then simply overlay a red dot at the point of aim and you are set.
You could even go a step further and overlay a ghost image of what the right eye sees with the red dot ontop of the left eye view. This would be the most realistic without gamers needing to wear 3D goggles to play the game.
