I have the precision software. I don't use it often. The last time I ran SpeedFan while I was playing, the GPU temp got up to 60C degrees without problems. That was the time I played for an hour after updating the DirectX libraries. Anyway, after looking around the BIOS, I forced the memory speed to 1600, versus leaving it at Auto, and rebooted. Then, I played the game again a second time for about half an hour without problems. I didn't have any other programs running, though. (I had TweetDeck and uTorrent running when I crashed.) Temp of the card was mid-50s. These are not outrageous temperatures, and as far as I know, there isn't a programmable threshold for the card to automatically shut down the computer. Any tips on what to customize in the precision software for playing? Any thing I should look out for?

Is it only Bullet Storm causing this. You had problems with TF2 before does it still cause the same madness?

I know you downloaded and installed the latest NVidia Drivers but sometimes that can even cause problems. I had to roll back drivers on the 8800 one time. They didn't play nice with my setup for some reason.

You guys aren't going to believe this. I finally figured out what's going on with my computer, and it's not any of the hardware in the case. I'm still having trouble pinpointing exactly what triggers the computer to shut down, but it appears to be a combination of key and mouse button presses. I've narrowed it mostly down to both left and right click mouse buttons and the right-ctrl key. There's something else, though, and it comes from a key press. I have a feeling it has to do with some buried keyboard shortcut that may be defaulted. If any of you have heard of something like this, let me know. Thanks!
