Computer Problems/Upgrades/Info

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. I like how you stuck your cell phone next to the GPU for size/scale, kind of like how engineers will stick a quarter or a pen/pencil in a picture for the same purpose. Gabby has the same phone, btw, and she can't stand it. She's driving me crazy about getting another phone, but the only ones she's looking at require a $30 month data plan (she currently doesn't have a plan). AUGH!

Nope, after I finished dremeling I filed them down nice and smooth. And it's not like the case gets shaken around all the time. Kind of tough to slice through wires when they never move :)

I don't care for the phone either. It's my second one because the other one's screen was all messed up. I only have it because the data plan wasn't required which, surprisingly, I still don't feel the need to have. The 295 is a monster tho. I feel no need to upgrade ;)

I believe it costs $100 as well, so what's the point, really? Not sure if an older version is upgradable. Maybe I can use the one from my decommissioned PC.

So, I'm wondering what kind of keyboard everyone is using? Newegg has the Logitech G510 on sale for $79.99 shipped, through tomorrow. It looks pretty good, but some of the complaints are enough to make me think twice about it. Thoughts?

MY neighbor was just telling me he has this keyboard. I already have drivers installed, I know they work, and I like my keyboard. So, I might just go with the Saitek (again) instead. The sad thing is, I'm really impressed with the feel of the Razer Lycosa keys (rubber tops or something like that) and how quiet and responsive they are.
