Nice skin, spineblaZe!

GG's everyone. Lots of CTF, JB, and ONS tonight. Fun, fun, fun.

Most maps were pretty competetive - except the lone BR map (see! don't play that crap ;) ).

Worf, ColaWars was loads of fun. Interesting changes. I've been purposefully holding back playing it until it was completely finished.

Sorry for the no show all. :( Work yesterday did a bigger number on me than I thought it would, couple that with having too much caffeine earlier in the day and I was so tired last night that I just had to take it easy and get some extra sleep. Hopefully tonight I'll be ready.

Off course
I never realised how much you have to run/dodge/jump/translocate around to get where you want until last night. And I usually got shot as soon as I was where I intended to go...if I could find it (kinda hard if Haarg had our flag...once again). Nevertheless, it were good games. Will post more stuff later...

Are you talking about BR-Skyline, about 1.5 hour after the start? I found that the most balanced BR-game I've played on this server thus far.

I'm glad that Colawars plays out great online as well...Just a little too much 'redeemer camping' ;)

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry I was only able to stay for a short time, I totally hosed my Windows install last night.

I'm surprised the Deemer was found so quickly. No one I saw found it when I was testing it off my machine.

We can have 12 people camping the deemer for all I care. Just makes it easier to get into the flag room.

Good games last night!

Worf: I think I speak for 80% of the BuFfers who were at FragBU last night when I say that we enjoyed playing ColaWars :D:tup:

About TeamSpeak, I think everyone should get on it, even sometimes when FragBU is not being played. Some interesting conversations pop up now and then, and having it on lets us have voice communication even when not playing a game. Not to mention, TeamSpeak lets us record the voice chat, so we can capture interesting moments as they come. :)

Quotes from last night:

[LAC]Dark_Pulse: ...oh, I hate you right now. YOU EARN DP'S BITCH STATUS

[BU]Raffi_B: please touch me with your green shaft again slayer

Renegade_BUF: curse you haar!!!
Haarg: :)
Renegade_BUF: errr, haarg

(About the lag and Raffi checking the server processes; this makes more sense if you're familiar with Unix/Linux)
DemonThing`BuF: we don't want top taking up all the cpu
Golden_Dragon(high): maybe if we moved somewhat less?

Renegade_BUF played with Han's happy fun ball...
Renegade_BUF: that's never good when you got a nade on your face

(In CTF-FP-Terra2004)
hal: lol my fps drop to single digits when I go in blue flag room

(In CTF-ColaWars-FragBU-v1)
BUDDYLEE: GIVE ME A REDEEMER TO CLEAR ROOM THO :)

(About the end-game pose in CTF-ColaWars-FragBU-v1)
hyrulian_viii: i was trying to spooge around the floor but it hit raffi
[BU]Raffi_B: lol
[BU]Raffi_B: BUKAKKE!

hal: see now thats the way the flag room looked all game ;)

(About fighting over the redeemer in ONS-Torlan)
[BU]Raffi_B: at least i held onto the deemer for more than .2 seconds, hyrulian :)

Thanks. I'm not sure what my next project will be, once the FragBU vid is done, but I may tear the map down and rebuild it AGAIN. a). because there are a billion things that could be done better, and b). I got some feedback suggesting this map might work for BR, or JB... so v2 may be a world removed from v1 :)

Quick addition: my response to this complaint: "should I tell him, Haarg?" (having seen Haarg, not to mention Slayer_Dragon and others, solve the mystery)

GGs, all. This was my first time using a mike online, and it was quite fun. I highly recommend people try out teamspeak.

P.S. Cola Wars was awesome. Proof that gameplay will always triumph over graphics.

There's a 'deemer in ColaWars? Just call me Mr. Keen-Eyed Map Tester.
Didn't knew that either...until the blast got me last night. IMO, testing a map is not the same as 'throwing your transloc in every imaginable position' ;)

Quoting time:
(on Naelir)
everyone: monkey!

Raffi_B: Have you guys played Glacier yet?
Haarg: err...yeah....sure we have ;)

(during the lag on Tricky)
CyMek|BuF: all your packet are belong to us
Raffi_B: i'm going to take a quick look at the server processes real quick

Renegade_BUF: Die cockroaches!!!!!

(on Colawars)
Bri!zz!{tWe}|BuF: MORE COWBELL
CyMek|BuF: otherwise.. spice spice baby!

(somewhere during Babylon Temple)
DemonThing'BuF: rar zip ace jar arj 7z bz2 gz tbz tgz Z

...And some screenies as well:

On Naelir, scoring meant finding the enemy flag carrier

I should be more carefull when toying around with momentum weapons ;)

Anyone wanna guess where this is?

Looks like all that's changed is the level music. Do we really need to make everyone download the map again just because the music is different? :)
