Maybe make a knowledgebase section for 2k4 where everyone can go to see how the diffrent gametypes/mods work?

I tried it (check the 'tips and tricks' thread or the link in my sig)...It doesn't work Maybe organizing things at specific times works better, but I've never seen that happen ...yet.
(note: just installed TeamSpeak. Too bad I don't have a working microphone)

About the momra situation: I think you should leave it as close to the original as possible: the lesser stuff a level contains, the more a 'simple tweak' will affect gameplay...And I'm affraid the original author cut back on about everything in his map; even walls
For the theme: if you choose to go with the ElecFields theme, could you at least add some supporting pillars on the bottom? It looks kinda silly like this.

That's exactly the thing though. In my opinion, if a team can huddle up like that with awesome teamwork and communication, they deserve to capture the flag. The deemer just takes that away and really puts the emphasis on one guy running into their flagroom and blowing everyone up instead of on teamwork.
