Unreal looks boring. the graphics are old.
I don't feel like I'm missing out. sorry
Word. I wouldn't try it now. Zero interest. Plus, I've got so many other games in my backlog that I still have yet to play.

One of the most immersive game worlds.
are you saying Unreal Tournament wasn't a great game?I find this game much superior to anything with "Tournament" written on it. Substance!
It could have been a fun game, but was it truly great or innovative? Not really, or at least not in many things compared to what Unreal already has done. Unreal had bots already, only botpack was meant to have more refined bots, ones that you can order in the team games.are you saying Unreal Tournament wasn't a great game?

Everything was made more simpler in UT as well, there's no inventory that you can select/activate anymore, everything went back to the quake style auto activate (though by default many items in deathmatch in Unreal did autoactivate, for the balance), some weapons have been simplified or their damage boosted up primarily to compensate for the dial up connections.
UDamage aka Damage Amplifier was also a ripoff of Quad Damage from Quake, in contrast Unreal had somewhat original item called energy amplifier which only amplified damage on energy based weapons and nothing else. (and it wasn't a floating "magic" symbol, instead it was a plausible looking device similar to car battery)

I think you don't know what UT was supposed to be...even originally there was meant to be some real inventory in there. But that isn't it only. They also managed to make a bit of mess in their map descriptions in the tournament ladder and even counterspeak some things from Unreal which suddenly didn't make sense anymore. For example an environment that was clearly meant/planned to be on the original Unreal planet is suddenly elsewhere and was built by one of the competitors and other location supposedly being on Earth even if not really possible.I don't understand.
you seem to be bashing UT for being what UT was supposed to be; an arena shooter.
it wasn't supposed to be an adventure game with a fleshy backstory, deep customization, rich characters, or plot twists. it was obviously modeled after the success of Quake and I think most people would agree that it surpassed Quake in every aspect.
Unreal and UT are 2 very different games.
yeah, and that's basically how I feel about Unreal Tournament.Unreal made me love games
ok sure.I think you don't know what UT was supposed to be...
Can we get the main page graphics changed now?
At least turn the "0" into a "5", or just ditch the whole "I'm this many fingers old!" thing.
