Ok I have managed to get it to do this here now also, and everyone except the person typing the word sees the time? so I can now fix it, if possible.
I wonder how the hell I missed this earlier.

I just tested the new beta on a vanilla server. Everything works as it should except for the chat logging. It is doing the "double-log" again same as before. That's the only bug that I found. I didn't test it with any other mutators after finding the log bug.

If it is not too late, I had an admin make a request to me for a feature. I told him I would ask but not make any promises.

He wanted to know if it would be possible for admins (logged in) to have unlimited zounds. It seems he uses some admin only zounds to warn his players before he starts kicking them & is using up his trigger limit. He says he would raise the trigger limit but they are spammed too much as it is.

what happens if you log in and out as admin.. might be something to consider.. ( i do this often)

The triple entries in the chatlog, yes I have that here also and I see the chatlog in beta 4 is identical to the one in beta 2 ?????
I wonder how the hell that happened because i KNOW I fixed it in beta 3 so how the hell did this happen, eish I'm getting too old for this :lol:

Zound53 Beta 5 :)

Hopefully the multiple entries in the Chatlog are fixed.
Frogger, the Admin should have unlimited Zound triggers now but needs checking.
I also need you guys to check the normal (previous) Admin operation to see that it has not been upset with the new addition.

I have not tested this beta as our Internet services got hit by lightning this morning taking out our 40 KW UPS and powersupply and I'm urgently flying parts out tonight from UK.

i hadn't checked the log for b5...only that every trigger was being sent twice. but i assume it was also being logged twice.. i have zound, ut2vote, uadmin and many others running so it may be a conflict.. let me try 6. Thanks btw Ben.

When you say the trigger was being sent twice, you mean like the players would see your nick + trigger twice if it was Hidden=False ?

i assume so..i just know i would type a trigger (i have showtrigger=false) and i hear the sound play twice...

I just tested beta 6 on a vanilla server. All features worked except for one that I found (see below).

Zounds=(Soundname="20s",Triggername="20s",SoundFilename="Kitchen_Sink.uax",Hidden=False,AdminOnly=True,Random=0)

In the above line, the trigger is hidden in the list & when activated by an admin. The trigger DOES show in the list for me when I am logged in, but still does not show in chat when activated.

Everything else works perfectly, including logging.

assraker did confirm the stuff happening on my server...but i agree with him that we should get 100% werking on a vanilla first..

i am running B3 again.. it has the 'showtrigger' issue.. but not the multiple triggers being sent issue. (on my heavily mutated server)

Can you rephrase that please it it does not make sense to me :)

Frogger regarding your multiple triggers, hell I just cannot get that to happen here as B6 works flawlessy here.
Do I need more that 2 players to get this happening or what ?
