Would the following work ?
Hi ProAsm!
First: Sorry for my bad english. I'm german.

I have a question to Zound v4.5. You have written in the readme that you can only use 100 trigger words for the 1. and 2. sound file and 50 for the 3.. I have a soundfile with over 300 sounds. But i will not split it into 3 sound files. Is it possible that i use this one soundfile (called eedzounds.uax) 3x ??? It looks than so:
[Zound45.ZoundConfigs]
SoundFileName1=eedzounds.uax
SoundFileName2=eedzounds.uax
SoundFileName3=eedzounds.uax
And the server packages looks than so:
ServerPackages=eedzounds.uax
Is it right? Please answer fast because our clan server will be back soon.
Thanks.

why doesn't he try it on his own? :rolleyes:
he want's to use it in a way not mentioned to work in the readme, so why do we offer support for such a case?

if he gives us a dl-link for that file, i'll try it, but i myself use zounds like it's supposed to be.

Zound version 4.6

Just check this out please:

Additions in 4.6

1. Mutate Zound Off / Mutate Zound On
If a client (player) sends either of these commands then the broadcasted sounds will be switched off or on for that level.
To constantly switch it off, the command would need to be sent every level.
If an Admin sends this command, then Zound will be switched off / on for everyone.

Say24HourTime=False
This has been added to the Zound ini file and if set to True then when a player types time? a 24 hour time format will be used instead of the current am/pm format.

Yes, the client will still hear his own but not those from others.
It mainly removes the spam that gets broadcasted to everyone.

okay..couple of things..

1. I didn't hear my own sounds either (which I think is fine)

2. Can you give any sort of confimation that zound has been muted to the client?

3. Any way to have zound add itself as serverpackage?

LOVE IT!

As everyone that runs Zound and the IRCReporter knows that the IRCReporter disables Zound.
I have now modified the IRCReporter to be Zound compatible as the author does not seem to have any interest.

Can someone possibly test it for me or know of someone who can test it and let me know if everything works ok ?

Please note the 'z' at the end which signifies that its Zound compatible.

Thanks ;)

it seems to connect to the irc-server, but never into the channel... Or maybe it just resolves the ip-adress, but can't connect to the irc-server?
