Am I the only person who refuses to wear armor? :p

I never sport the boonie, the buzz or the helmut, always have a cap and black balaclava

Most used: M16A2-4 mags_M203 nade-4 HE nades_2 nades

Fun in the sun: Mk23 fully loaded-1 mag_lvl3a armor

sneaky sneaky: Mp540+suppressor-4mags_mk23 fully loaded-2 mags_2 nades_1 redsmoke (for kicks:p)

I hate cheese: Sig551+laser-5 mags_2 nades

I miss my robar hippin': Robar-3 clips_M9-4clips_1 nade

Sniper pistol? where, where?: DE.50-5 clips_1911-5 clips_lvl3a armor

d0n7 p43ar t34 r3ap3r: Hk69-15 buckshot-5 HE

I still have but never use my M4 loadouts anymore (one has a 3a armor but no supressor, the other has a suppressor and flashlight and a fully loaded mk23 for night time)

I never use the P90 or the 5-7 (or the M93)

If it were enabled I'd prolly use my G36 loadout more (comes with a silenced uzi for your convenience)

In case you sisn't notice, most (if not all) of these are built for lightweight use and dont go over the medium wight limit (I think highest is about 38 bulk or so)

No slots for you.

I haven't edited any of my loadouts since the time it took to open the loadout menu went up to 5 minutes. LOADING THE LOADOUT MENU.

Psych there are several things you can do to solve the problem. I once heard a guy have 2 ini's with different loadouts in both of them, he also had a button to switch between them on the fly during a game, changing his loadout menu I mean.
No idea if he was lying or not, but if so it would be awesome-ness, no?

It would, but WHY THE HELL they is this darn limit?? It makes no darn sense, or did it? *waits of yurch to bash me ironically/sarcastically with his powerful wisdom of zeus and all gods together*

Hmm, same as I can't friggin understand why SS changed the very good proximated pistols from 2.87 to those huge bricks of 2.9 (?????) and keeping the rifles small at the same time (quote geo: *shakes fist in the air*).

*Go on yurch...*

There was no 2.87 (that was the number all were waiting for, but due to much progress was changed to 2.9). LoadoutLimit: Search for Loadoutmanager, but the server needs to runs that mutator.

If the server needs to run it, I don't need it, kinda so.
And yes, I always, ALWAYS mix up 7 and 6, darn it.

Me and numbers, like fire and water

I'd say you never really need to be quiet in INF. But sometimes it just feels right to have that sound anyway, plus it lessens the muzzle flash I think.

As for the sniper thing, sadly you'll be better off with an unscoped rifle at any range in INF. I still use the PSG lots because it just feels right, it's all about tactics and then I pick the weapon that meets the one a TV character used best. Usually though scopes are less accurate when holding breath than irons are without holding right mouse...

But crac got a very good point on ammo. The only type of suppressive fire we got in INF is when we start shooting through walls. And when that happens, you better have those extra 2 mags.

Suppressive fire is still useful, you just have to time it right since you can't get a steady stream of fire. It's just made less useful by the fact that S.Fire never really amounts to anything than the enemy eventually walking into your LOF, since communication is usually sparatic and unreliable (unless you're on a team or on TS or something of the like).

Scopes are definately useless. If you cant hit a target at least 300m out without a scoped weapon, online play is a bitch.

I should also note that I dont think I've never run out of ammo before in one round with anything other than an MP5.

Indeed Harrm, even when someone is shooting at you real accurately for some reason in the world of INF nobody bothers flanking. They just go prone, lean and fire back. Or start throwing 10 grenades and then proceed to go prone, lean and fire back :p

The level 3 verst, is it the one (or equal/similar) that the US is using in Iraq? And where (in real life) the level 2 vest is used? How exactly is the llv affected by 9mm? Is it worth carrying it?
I´m still unsure about the vests, I use the llv usually.

The interceptor system the US is using in Iraq is actually a level IIIa vest with a level IV plate insert (that can stop 7.62mm)

I thought so. So carrying the llla vest in INF battlefield is true to infantry and does not make you a SWAT unit in Iraq.

The ll vest seems to be the regular police vest, why is it in INF at all? Or is it used in military aswell?

And what vests the military CQB special forces, like Delta Force use?

And the special forces, like army ones, or navy selas in their night special operations (crawling in sand, no CQB), do they use vests too? Cuz I saw a pic of navy seals in a deseet and they had only the 'ammovest'.

I actually have 3 types of soldiers. The infantry with normal rifles and llla verst, the CQB force, with SMG's and normal rifles, plus sidegun and llla vest and the special force with no verst, lots of specialised guns and toys and a boonie.

I think all that feels real.

That actually works in nearly every modern game. If you feel that you are running out of keys on your keyboard, then you have to research how to create a new .txt or .ini or w/e for your extra keybinds and bind a key to load that newly created file. It would also help to have a key to switch back to the old binds "on the fly" as you say, thus making the switching easier.

The Source engine is highly configurable, for instance, so I'm sure there are a variety of ways to do it there... for INF you may just have to create a copy of your .ini and manually edit the loadout entries.

On one of the thousands of pages of UT console commands I found the following:

INI=inifilename Specify the .ini file to use for configuration. Normally UnrealTournament.ini.
USERINI=userinifilename Specify the .ini file to use for user-specific configuration. Normally User.ini

Personally, I only had about 10 loadouts, until the recent "hacking" scandal, when I had to create a few more for m16a2 (I was using the a4), akmsu (instead of akms) etc... so therefore I did not try this method yet. Perhaps someone can expound on the method of using the console command in INF? For you'll have to have a slightly different command to make INF_Loadouts.ini load.
