a few comments

- great job on the railgun's scope, but the slowdown when you fire is tremendous, my computer almost came to a complete halt. Better reduce the effects drawn.

- congrats, you pretty much already archieved something I was just about to do myself with that electricity gun. :D I was going to take the link gun's alt fire and make it look like an electric arc and link to enemies only, doing damage. The black cable solution looks much better though, IMO. But let's see how it works out.

- changing DrawScale3D of existing models, ok, but I think you exaggerated a bit.

- beautiful recharging effect on the ERPPC, but it sometimes keeps hanging in the air forever if you die.

The railgun only lags for me when I have a bunch of bots firing them all over the map. I don't know its deal is. I'm not sure I'm totally satisfied with the firing effects anyway, though I don't know what I'd change them to.

The EGun's secondary is completely different now. The tazer just didn't come out quite the way I wanted it to. I was gonna do all kinds of cool stuff with it, but... blah. I think I gave up on it when the grappling hook aspect of it refused to function.

I don't think I exagerated the scale of any of the weapons. Which one(s) are you talking about?

Didn't notice the ERPPC thing. I don't like the gun much (It's basically the lightning gun...) and give it little attention. One of these days I gotta make it cooler (maybe add even more crazy charging effects:D).

Cool. The ERPPC scope there still needs some work. Invasion monsters also display properly on the railgun's thermal scope now.

What are you gonna be doing to 'work' on it? Looks decent so far.
ANd howd you get the monsters to show up on the scope? Didnt your method for players use the same kinda stuff as the shadows (meaning: doesnt it need skeletalmeshes?)

I agree the scope looks decent enough so far, but I wanna get rid of the lightning gun parts altogether. So I gotta think of something different to put in the center of the screen, maybe add some pretty stuff sround the screen, and perhaps change teh charge bar. It would also be nice if I were to increase target visibility or something. The railgun can see through walls, and the drugger points to potential targets; seems like the ERPPC should get something fancy, too. Maybe just that part. I guess the remaining lightning gun parts aren't so bad.

For monster thermal scanning, I check to see if the pawn is using one of the monster meshes, and if so, use the old method. The size of the blob takes into account the monster's draw scale and draw scale 3D, so custom monsters using existing meshes should all show up properly. :D I still have to make the cow and floaty drone show up, though (the floaty drone currently displays as a humanoid on the scope :con: ).

A new version will either be out when I fix a bug in the ERPPC scope, or when I add another weapon (one weapon's already been made, which I don't think I've told any WMP people about), depending on how much new stuff everyone wants.

The problem with the scope now is that, in trying to make it zoom in farther, and zoom out the same way it zooms in (instead of all the way out with one click), whenever you press secondary when fully zoomed out, you zoom all the way in, then you can zoom in and out as you please. I can't figure out what the problem is! :mad:

Also, I found out I can still import bmps like I could in UT, so I did this:

Well I fixed the scope problem (w00t!), added some arrows so you know which way you're gonna be zooming the next time you press secondary, and made part of the crosshair rotate as you zoom in and out. :D

You should do something about the firing effect of the rail, i think thats what hes saying. I can tell when a bots shooting it because ill lose about 70% of my FPS while its processing the high detail beam that gets stretched across the whole level (its cool, but theres gotta be a way to optimize it a bit)
And make the weapons consume ammo :p theyre all cool as the dickens, but theyre mad-retarded-cheap since they dont consume ammo
And what the hell is the Nuker's secondary supposed to do?! Intimidate badguys with a tiny red light of intimidatedness?
