He said on numerous occasions that if a country harbors terrorists or aids them, they are a threat to us. Brittan has cooperated with us. According to some reports, Arabs have harbored and or aided terrorists and by bush’s definition, should then be considered a threat. There’s a contradiction there.

The WB news is reporting this morning that in the fine print of the details of the agreement, this Arab company will be taking over a total of 21 US ports, not just 6.

I heard a pro-con thing on a news flash and the con guy said that these ports have a very secret security procedure and that allowing this event to happen would mean letting the Arabs in on these secrets. He said allowing an outside country in on such secrets is a very bad idea.

In the movie Fahrenheit 911, Moore was interviewing someone who knew about government spending and policy and he told Moore that the Arab countries had a big piece of the US already (maybe a trillion). It was something like 6 or 7 percent, I believe. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the movie.

They were standing outside an Arab embassy. Secret service agents came up to them to find out what they were doing. They said it was surprising that the Arabs had secret service agents guarding them (as opposed to maybe private security or whatever) and that they had more guards than any other ambassador.

In another part of the movie, they talked about how the Arabs were paying them over a billion over 20 years and how the normal pay for a president is 250k or 300k per year, or whatever it is. The point he was making was “who’s your daddy?”

I’d have to watch the movie again to get the figures right, and maybe that’s a good idea.
