Straitjacket

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
A straitjacket is a garment shaped like a jacket with overlong sleeves. The ends of these can be tied to the back of the wearer, so their arms are kept close to their chest with possibility of only little movement.

They are used to restrain people who may otherwise cause harm to themselves and others, in hospitals for instance. The straitjacket is also a staple prop in escapology, and sometimes used in sexual bondage (at between $150 and $300 for normal ones, and several times more for leather jackets, they're not widespread!).

Although straitjacket is the most common form, strait-jacket is also frequently used, and, in England, strait-waistcoat (Archaic). The spelling straight-jacket is a now valid alternative, although the original term came from strait meaning narrow or confined; thus straitjacket is preferable.
:D

Let me break it down for you:

1. To DemonThing and T2A: – Silence! Your were both right! ;)

2. To Ren and Bee: Me say – Prozac Full!!! (see avatar)….no really I’ve got buckets of Prozac. How else do you think I stay awake long enough to play on both FragBU and EuroFragBU servers?

3. To T2A: My head still hurts from the 2 story head stomp that you inflicted upon me with the “straight-jacket in public” comment. :D My old pal being so harsh to me! I’ll think about getting an “in public” jacket mod.

4. As can be seen from the Wikipedia definition above: at the average price of $150 to $300 dollars a new straitjacket is well out of my budget for now. Awww who am I kidding. My new Belkin Nostromo N2005 Straitjacket gaming controller just arrived from Newegg.com. It has a USB plug, a CD of software. All I have to do to jump, dodge and run is thrust my shoulders from side to side in a violent manner. Shewwww. Dird better hope I don’t ever get out of this thing. ;)   :D HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

Much love, Prozac

Someone showed up to FragBU as Dird. Can't be sure it was actually him, but everyone started saying things like, "I can't hear any music," and "How's the DJing going?" so he left.

On ColaWars, probably someone aliasing :p
Unfortunately I didn't start recording until he had left but I was attacking and he was already in from of me. He grabbed the flag and then disconnected.

I goaded Dird the other day into what I believe was his first match against buffers. It was DM-Rankin, I had the ltg and the amp, and the first shot of the whole match was me blowing dird's head clean off on a 180-degree snapshot.

Welcome to BUF, Dird!

BTW - nice fragging last night. you were playing really well. I'm still holding my arse, which you handed me. But Raffi.....that's just disgusting, how frickin' quick he kills me. I'm dead in like no more than 2 seconds after respawning. What's sad is that I'm giving him my best - which aint sayin' much. But, it's sick to know how fast he can own you.

I'd love to see him Wicked Sick, Dird!

It's something to see how Raffi's improved. I remember back in 2k3 when we first got FragBU up and running again. Raffi was one of the few people I felt I could ocassionally get a kill on back then. Now, I can't even sniff his jock (not that I'd really want to or anything). He's come from an average-at-best player to one of the better hit-scan players I know.

Moral of the story - not to sing the praises of Raffi_B, but as a lesson for some of the newer players out there. Keep at it, and you WILL get better.

:p Thanks. You were playing pretty well too, but you're too predictable, which is one of the reasons I was getting you. You should have seen me after you left, though. I lost my mojo and almost lost that Deck17 match after being up by 10 the whole time.

Raffi's all about hitscan, make sure he doesn't have the chance
Quoted for truth.

I won a FFA against Raffi, Prozac, and Skold on Osiris2 partly because I tried to stick as close to Raffi as possible when he came into view, and partly because I got a couple stolen kills because I watch for stuff like that in FFA and take advantage. :D There was also a pretty lucky shot that probably turned the tables in my favor. Raffi was up top sniping, and he knew I was going to lift-jump up to the sphinx thing from the 50a area, but I knew he was there waiting for me, so as I jumped up I launched a flak shell as soon as my head peeked through the opening that scored a direct hit and killed him. :) Sadly, Raffi left as soon as the match finished so I couldn't get a screenshot. :( Guess he didn't want any proof floating around that he's actually beatable. ;)

Your so correct on the predictability. I appreciate both the positive and negative feedback. That's the only way I'll get better I know. I'm still so new. Let's see I've played October, November, December and now most of January - and before that....I kid you not, I'd never ever ever ever played any PC game even.

Never was into it...never had a Playstation, an Xbox or a Gamecube either. So I guess all things considered, I really should be categorized as a hyper-ultra-neo-Noob! Dude before Renegade Retard ever trained me a bit, all I did was literally run in straight lines, then he took me over to DM-Antalus and owned me like 20 to 0. Then he politely told me to quit running in straight lines......now I try not to.

Slowly but surely, Prozac

Dude, I wouldn't tell people that, becuase they know how bad I am, so.....

Like I've told you, you've improved greatly since then. The last map you and I played when Han joined us, you had some great moves and shots, and I had to play my tale off to keep ahead of you.

I know you've been practicing pretty hard the past several weeks, so I've been avoiding you so you don't finally show me up!

Remember, standing still and straight lines = dead. I know, I die a lot.

Don't let Ren fool ya. Ever since he joined that {tWe} clan, he's been fraggin' his anus off. I joined a scrim with him one night at one of the {tWe} servers. We were playing CTF at a map I was unfamiliar with and he sniped me about 6 times as punishment for standing in front of a window, without moving ENOUGH. :(

He's been making me pay since day 1 and like any good coach - he shows no mercy.....as he smirks a devious smile. :D

Don't let him fool ya. He's good. Real good.

Love, Prozac
