Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

It really depends on the circumstances you find yourself under.
If you're Lotus and you're playing against xTc who's always running away towards the 25 health like a bitch with his shieldgun up, then shielding yourself and denying xTc the 25 healths would be an effective tactic on some maps in certain circumstances.

Why does Epic feel the need to change things that don't need to be fixed?
It's not like someone could have exploited this and ruined other players' fun.
If I ever make a game and change something, I'll make server options to enable it or disable it, either that or add a mutator that will revert anything that you didn't want changed back to the original.

Okay, I always see people running up the higher walls on the Torlan map, to get to the platform just above the base. How do you do that? =)

It does? I must be pretty damn blind then. I didn't know we had a tips and tricks forum.
And no, it wouldn't. Assuming you're talking about vehicles on the sniper tower, it's basically a well timed manta jump + ramping off a piece of geometry to give you the height you need.
If you're talking about just getting to the top of the main base area, it's probably your standard ramp dodge.
Not that either of those are terribly useful in Torlan.

Wasn't talking about the manta...didn't say anything about vehicles at all - and yes I'm talking about getting to the top of the base..but since I'm the FNG and I wouldn't know what a ****ing ramp dodge was if someone did it on my head, that makes you a waste of my time.
But all you pricks are like that... A dime a dozen, and soooo good at what you do...and you gotta be an ass rather than help someone with a little info - god man, get out and get some ***** or something.. It's a game..
