An RAv3 beta will be hosted on the AFA server as close to 12AM EST tonight as I can manage. If problems arrive this event will be canceled.

I will be locking the server monday night or afterwards, both to avoid stealing the thunder of the newly released weapons pack, and the hard-earned playerbase of the other major servers.

I would be very surprised to find another server running it since it is so early in beta. Looking forward to it big time.

Ok. Remember near the end of 2.86 there were I a couple of versions of RA floating around. RAv2 was the most popular one and was done by yurch. There was an earlier version that was being used on a server or 2 also by yurch.

Then there was RA286 done but Toad and Duke, (I am sure of Duke but can't remember 100% who else). That was the version with the darkening vision. RA286 was based off of RAv2 I believe.

I think I am correct. Pretty sure anyways. Well it is a good guess.

I haven't logged on in a looooong time. It's cool to see Yurch is still working on his never ending quest to Yurchmination . Unlikely i could be on at 12am, i have work early in the morning . I hope to be able to try it soon.

Only one thing have been keeping me from comming back on-line, it's the few gigs of maps i'm forced to find and download just to get on a game .

I counted 5 Euro servers running the new weaponpack, but it's true on most euro-servers there are hardly any mutators. I didn't understand NT's post as well, but I think he is trying to highlight the picture of the "old eruope" and the "new America" and if that's the case I'd be interested in how much YOU know about Europe ... but well that would be a bit off topic.

He is refering to that back in the early thirties Germany embraced change to get them out of their troubles leading to the rise of Hitler. We all know how well that went. In that reference Europe may not like change a whole lot.

And i want to make a plea. I have a fairly high ping, and i only can play well in Inforcers, 121st, Jgkdo or rarely some others. So i hope that some of the named clans adopt this mutator. ^_^
