Overweight? Really? Jeez, you've got some hefty standards there. I personally think she's very attractive (and I've had a wide variety of body types at my disposal as of late - got a couple new ones coming up that might actually meet your standards..)
Mike, what sort of recommendations do you have for backdrops? How much money would I be looking to spend?
She isn't overweight at all.. She has lots of curves. Curves do not mean fat. She has some extra weight on her but its well with in my personal attractive standards. Its all personal tastes anyways. Its ok to speak up and give your constructive feedback/opinions but there is no reason for personal attacks. She is plenty sexy.
I really would like to see more facial expressions. I dont feel anything because I dont see any expressions coming from her. A sexy body isnt enough without an expression to go with it. Its would be sexier if her face implied an emotion that drew us in. Mischief, wonder, doubt, pout, loneliness, pondering, waiting, hope, need, desire, aroused, aggression... all expressions that would add an extra character to your subject and draw us into the photo.
You can go several directions with backdrops. Here is a quick list from least expensive to most:
- Pre existing wall - Super cheap.. just have to find a big enough one with the right color or lack of.
- 9'x18' Muslim fabric - Very cheap but very thin. $15-40 Anything behind the fabric will be seen unless you get a lot of it. Prone to wrinkles which may drive you crazy in post production.. unless you dig shapes the fabric makes. You will likely need to use an iron before hanging it up. You can find this at your local fabric store.
- 9'x18' thick fabric - Cheap but depending on what you find you may end up paying $50 - 100 for the right size. Less likely to have wrinkles with thicker fabrics. You can find this at your local fabric store.
- 9'x100' paper backdrop - $60 - 200 Really easy to use. If you get it dirty.. just cut that part off. I would have to say that this is the biggest bang for your buck. You will need lighting stands and a bar to hold everything up. I
- 9'x100' vinyl backdrops. Around the same price group as paper but less likely to crinkle. Much easier to clean and they can come in shiny or matte. I would love to get one but I am waiting for the paper to run out first. Could take a while

- 9x100 canvas backdrop - $100 - 500 Very Expensive. These things are like heavy, tough, wrinkle free and they look like rugs.
Also, if you have some sexy shots, do share them. I would like to see them. Unless banable parts are showing.. post it!
