Been a while since I've checked the thread. Nice stuff everybody.

Here's a couple quick guerrilla style shots I did of a younger friend of mine. Trying to help her build self confidence, and I'd love to have her model for me in something a little more planned (and with some actual attention to lighting/composition .

the difference?
some surgery, therefore able to get hotter boyfriend, therefore feeling more confident.
You wont really see it though.. because 2 years ago I had to sh00p it away.

If: I = not making sence, then do: understand that I just woke up after a long night.

She has self esteem issues because every boyfriend she has treats her like crap. That's a good way to lose self esteem quickly.

Christmas photo shoots have begun! In a short visit back from California, Elly stopped by the studio for a Christmas photo session. We had a lot of fun till the indoor heater ran out of gas. It can really get cold in there! Electric heaters just don't cut it. We had 2 electric heaters running for 3 hours and it only increased the temperature by 4 degrees. Had to take a visit to the store to pick up a 80,000 btu gas heater. Even on low it gave out 50,000 btu's of heat. It really does make all the difference.

1st shot looks amazing.
Very reminiscent of some early Holywood promo shots.
I desaturated that one in Photoshop and it looks fantastic.

I created a batch action long ago that does it for me automatically. It uses the auto align features built into photoshop edit menu. I hear Lightroom 3 can create them with ease. Of course you could just manually do it every time you post an image on the net. It can be very time consuming without an action. 1 second batch action turns into 1-4 min of trying to figure out where exactly you put your logo last time.
