Anywhere But Here
I have not used my camera much over the last several months, so I broke it out for our latest airshow this weekend. Most of the better opportunities for shooting eluded me because of the unusually cold temps and high winds, I got off a few semi-decent shots of nothing too fancy.

Some light post-processing was done in Lightroom and Photoshop for color correction and dust spots on the lens.

I travelled to Canada last week for a job interview, and stayed a couple of days. Took all my camera gear with me on the plane, but ended up being too tired to go out and get many photos. Here are a few:

Kitchen tables are actually quite spacious surfaces when all the junk is taken off of them. I found a large rectangular piece of white card and used that against the wall (keeping a ~30cm gap between), which is painted white (‘cream’, whatever). One strobe (to the right) is pointing at the wall and the other is raised up as far as the tripod will allow, shooting the toys downwards at an angle (it’s relatively far left).

Edit: Thanks Jackal. I used F11 or thereabouts with 160 being the shutter speed. 35-70 Minolta lens on a Dynax 5D. Don’t know light intensity. :p
