if u did, how would the animations be built in UED?
CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS?

Secondly, I actually had a couple of ideas how to make animated decorations available for use in UnrealEd; one option could be to continuously loop a single animation, or to switch between two looping animations when the decoration actor is triggered, or to play a given animation once when the decoration is triggered, or whatever else---that's all doable with just a little bit of code that could automatically be added by MeshMaker if the user wishes it. Imagine the possibilities.![]()
(While we're at it, I wonder whether I should add animation support for upcoming MeshMaker 1.1's .3ds file importer.)
MeshMaker is Delphi. Delphi is a nice language for stuff like that.Just a total off-topic question: have you ever been a BASIC programmer (since meshmaker is probably in C++)?
When I started programming (in Basic indeed, though not in Visual Basic), the World Wide Web wasn't yet, so I can't give you any useful advice there, I'm afraid. Sorry...Now if that is true, you must have been a nOOb too once,
searching the entire net for good tutorials just like me.(unless u did it the hard way)
The actuall question: Wich tut site do you really recommend
Does it show up in the 2D viewports as a wireframe model? Occasionally Unreal Tournament's script compiler fails to load texture packages even though MeshMaker was able to find them (happens with Tactical Ops textures, for instance, because they reference other packages out of the compiler's reach for footstep sounds).So I select it in the actor class browser,
right click on a surface and select: add V-22A Osprey here;
I click and nothing happens, do it again and nothing happens!!!

Hmm... probably possible. I'll think about that. Thanks for the idea.how a bout creating a series of brushes for each fram of animation and program mesh maker to link the frames to generate the the animation file
You can attach it to a mover.can you give a mesh keyframes to act as a mover???

Thanks to MeshMaker i'll now be able to make meshes on my own, on a Mac, instead of having to rely on someone to convert my .DXF to .3DS, add texture and converting to UT mesh format.
