I dealt with the AntAgonizer first, talked her into giving up, then killed her. Went to the Mechanist, gave him the Ant suit, he gave up, and I got the Protectrons gaze. I shot the Mechanist to get back what I gave him.

In short, he should be there, in the secret room at the Robot Repair Center, with the elevator that takes you right back to the entrance of the building. You can also lockpick the elevator near the entrance to get to him.

Edit: If he's really not there, you can try to follow the quest marker to find him.
I got both their costumes, killed them both, and so I got a nifty 500 caps as well as both their costumes AND weapons.

God that was awesome. Score. :D

Canadians are supposed to speak French, seems logical.

Also some stuff I found while playing Broken Steel.

Anyone want to speculate on the cause of death?

So I FINALLY decided to start playing this game again. I'm 15 hours in, am at level 13, and have done the following.

On the main quest I just completed the part where Liam Neeson dies. My next step is to go to Little Lamplight, woohoo. Tranquility Lane was easily my favorite part of the game so far.

In terms of miscellaneous quests, I am on the second chapter of the Wasteland Survival Guide, and have completed Big Trouble in Big Town, Those!, Blood Ties, and The Replicated Man.

Having 10 Intelligence from the start was a good idea, those 20+ skill points at each level really do make a difference.

The combat shotgun is such a good weapon.

Yeah, I'm eons behind the rest of you, but I'm glad I'm finally playing this again. One of the best parts of this game has to be the art direction and how varied everything is. Oblivion was a big let down in that department (same dungeon 50 times over). But Fallout 3 doesn't seem to repeat itself, barring perhaps the metro.

I just found the Terrible Shotgun. Had to kill Chuckles or whatever his name was to get it. But it's pretty much my favorite gun, along with the Lincoln repeater. I also scored myself a Ghoul mask...which is pretty awesome.

I do have a question. When I was doing the quest at Tenpenny Tower (the one where I got the mask), I took the option to kick the bigots out so the Ghouls could live there. The strange thing was, once I told the Ghouls they could go chill there, and left the subway...when I reentered the capital wasteland I suddenly got a message saying that I accomplished an objective on my Mister Crowley Quest because Allister Tenpenny was killed. Since I was all the way out in the wasteland when I got this message...and I had no intentions of killing him just then, I went back to look for his body. But he was gone. Was this a bug or something?

Also hit my level cap at 20.

I don't know, maybe it's because I've logged more than 100 hours in this game now, but I do think the game repeats itself a little too often. Yeah, it does have more varied architecture than Oblivion, but at the same time the amount of unique inventory and game objects are surprisingly limited IMO. It seems like they didn't bother adding objects if they didn't serve a purpose, which all but a few of them does.

No, it's not a bug.

What happens when you make an agreement to let the Ghouls move in to Tenpenny Tower is that they will eventually kill every human resident in the tower, including Tenpenny himself. Roy Phillips should now be in charge.

I've decided to make a new character that is almost the complete opposite of my previous one, an evil female. Now I'm just tying up a few strings in Megaton before i blow it to smithereens. I used my female charm (black widow) to persuade Mr. Burke into paying me some extra cash.

Also, ever since I've installed the 1.5 patch and Broken Steel my game will crash every single time when I exit the game. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Well it depends on how well you can convince Roy and Tenpenny. My scenario was that the ghoulies moved in while the humans were still living there. No murders, rapes, pillages, or anything :D Tenpenny however was gone.

Advance in the story line to where you're supposed to enter the Citadel, or complete Operation Anchorage DLC.
