Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
If you read the thread a few gearbox employees have chimed in. It looks like the chance of getting specific items on specific days (Shotguns yesterday, grenades today) has been increased. As with anything you will probably see more grenades today than you usually do.
I mostly play offline when doing farming runs.. but It might be worth it to become connected for this event.

Actually there's some sneaky fellas who figured out how to tweak drop rates long ago
It turns out the memory addresses are really easy to access and you can tweak them at run time with a decent injector. By default the weightings are something like this:
White - 200
Green - 50
Blue - 20
Purple - 1
Orange- 0.1
Best part is, if I tweak them while the game is running, any players playing coop with me will also benefit as my machine dictates drops.
I've been playing this weekend. It makes little to no difference if you've reached level 50. Blue and Purple drops with the better stats are more likely to drop, but that's about it. If you're at the farming stage you're unlikely to get much worthwhile.

I had a few freezes myself but they only lasted 1-2 seconds. I disconnected from being online and they went away. Could be a coincidence.
I haven't been able to get Verminivorous to spawn yet... but I haven't really tried too hard. It's on my list of things to do. I dont have 4 buds to play with so my chances are slim.
I was able to pick up The siren and gunzerker legendary class mods from Pyro Pete. I'm just missing a Legendary Mechromancer and I'll be good to go!

I've spawned Vermi a few times before, it was a pita but it's worth it if you want a ridiculous fight and you just want to pump bullets into something.

I've kited Badass Varkids / Super Badass Varkids for half an hour or more at a time without being able to get it to spawn. Gonna get a group together and harass them again tonight and see what happens.
I need to find that, do you know what it does? I have Slayer of Terramorpheous, but despite it giving you 20 skill points, it's in the higher up skills across all three trees, so you can't capitalise on it. They also don't compliment one another at all :/

the legendary classmods are Vermivorous drops(and probably pete too and then random spawns on vending machines). The legendary mods I got usually focus their skills on the first skills over all three skilltrees. Additionally they increase three value, on my Siren its burn damage, burn time and I think cooldown rate. They're real good classmods in general.

The BL2 wiki has some good info - the class mods will vary - there are tiers as to how good they are.
Apparently the Commando one can affect SIX parts of the skill tree and can allocate up to five points in each. Yes, it's possible to get one that effectively gives you 30 free skill points - and I thought Slayer of Terramorphous was good...
The Legendary Mechromancer looks way better than Slayer (which is not as good as some of the purple stuff, imho).

Hopefully he's not just easier to spawn but has better drop rates. Nothing beats waiting for him to evolve to drop a couple blues.
Me and bruzz spawned vermi on one side of Tundra, he ninja looted the Norfleet so I ran across the map, spawned Vermi again and got another one. Hope that reassures you a bit.
