The story is apparently short and unsatisfying, but it's supposedly all about the side quests.

The story is a bit over forty minutes long, much of which was walking from A to B:
You arrive in the marsh, walk to the lodge, get sent by Hammerlock to kill something only to get interrupted by the new bad guy (who is forgettable enough that I have forgotten his name only the day after). You meet claptrap, boat over to the bad guy's lab and stop his experiment, then go to his other lab (a fifteen minute trek down a linear canyon / cliff side road) and kill him. That's pretty much it.

Also, the loot chamber at the end contained only two average purple items and a whole load of junk. The end boss drops a unique plasma thrower, but it's completely useless as it seems to only fire at the origin of the world (this feels like a bug).

Still haven't done the side missions, but there do seem to be about as many as the Torgue campaign. Some of the new enemies are quite refreshing, but since the story is so short, you don't really see them that often.

Overall the new DLC is a bit unsatisfying.

I totally missed the Vermi Event. Too freaking busy with work and RL. Alas I spent this weekend doing a ton of trading with random folks. I get a little weary because of all the cheats and hacks out there. I like legit gear :)

I was able to trade away for most of my sought after gear lust but I still have a few items I'm looking for:

ALL ITEMS MUST BE LVL 50 !!

Rabid Rapier (captains Rapier will be fine. Not interested in the elemental versions unless you have a slagged version.) Gotta have that 200% melee damage!
Infinity Pistol (prefer the slag version.. does it even exist?)
Alkaline Love Thumper - I'm looking for one with 39k or higher roid damage. I don't care too much about the other stats of this shield.
Norfleet - I prefer the shock version but will also accept corrosive.

What do I have to trade with? Just about everything (except what I'm looking for above). Just ask!
I don't think there is a slag Infinity Pistol. If there is a legit one, I've never seen it. I have a Rapid Infinity Pistol, though, if you want to trade sometime. I'm looking for a level 50 conference call.

The skins are bugged, if you're a stickler for detail or paying for something that works right, hold off on them until they're fixed.

Wow... This is beyond disappointing. Nevermind the fact that it's ridiculous they are selling skins at all. I thought after Mozi saying you could find them all in game we were safe from this crap. I guess not. Monetize everything, even if you're Gearbox :(

There's also talk of even more DLC which will be in a second season pass
I'm fine with a second season pass. I have paid about $18 for all four campaign DLC and I'm not complaining even about how short Hammerlocks is.

But these skins are a joke. They should be free and should just add to the droppables instead of giving hem to you straight away, IMO. I'm afraid the next step is $0.99 missions. Why not spend 99 cents for the opportunity to collect more poly kriten?!

Yep what a bunch of fucking morons. If those packs include skins that aren't included in the game, then they can sod off.

I must be the only person not bothered by the premium skins at all...
Nah. It just depends on if you like or care about the skinning at all. I like it, but not for $15 to get 30 skins and heads most of which are broken in various ways.

I'm bothered by it, just not being vocal about it
I'd be less annoyed if you could combine 2-3 of these "packs" and get a discounted price.
About the only Gaige pack I'd even consider is the furry-whatever one.

I finally got my Norfleet!!!

Its a corrosive, not my favorite element but I know it will do its job quite nicely. I got it from Hyperius. I had no idea he dropped them or I wouldn't even have bothered with Vermi.

I've seen a few images of it online but most searches reveal that it does not exist. Who knows, it might just be super rare. I have a rapid infinity as well. Shoots at a rate of 10.. which is pretty awesome when you add the sheriff's badge relic.

I have 3 conference calls. Critical non elemental, a shock and a slag. I think one of them has a 7 shot round instead of the typical 5 shot.

I think its a great way for the company to make a few extra $$ to justify making more in the first place. Most games don't have hundreds of skins for each character. This one does and the price isnt all that bad if your really into the game. If you like it, buy it. I wasn't as blown away by them so I'll be skipping this purchase.

I fought him again solo and managed to get him down to 5% health before he pooped on my head and I bled out. :(

For some reason Rubbi wasn't healing me when I was connected to (was it hedge or brizz we connected to?) so I couldn't heal between nova blasts. On my own it was working and I'd be able to survive the double novas with Rubbi.

Hyperius just sucks. Most of the time it seems like it's more about luck than any particular strategy, though some strategies are better than others. The big thing I think is that you've got to have someone running Res to do long distance revives.

Roadkillgrill can beat hyp in about 2 minutes every time and he's running a gunzerker like Mike was. I really need to ask him what his setup is so we can farm the crap out of Hypoopious and not die 400 times in a row.

That reminds me, a guy found a use for the Flakker. Apparently it can hurt Hyp through his shield, but the damage is horrendous and took the guy about 15 minutes with zerker and 2 identical Flakkers

I've done it solo with the Commando and the Mechromancer (it's a slog though) - specced for health and shield regeneration and rate of fire over anything else.

I used a non-elemental infinity pistol with high rate of fire as to not run out of ammo, a protection relic with something like +30% shield regeneration, a class mod with rate of fire bonuses and the bee. The idea is that once the minions are down, use the turret or deathtrap to lure him to the opposite side of the arena and just pummel from a distance. If he does catch you with his jump attacks, I use transfusion grenades to quickly regain health.
