Coming from someone who has recently discovered the joy of iron sighted long range M16 sniping, I'm kind of looking forward to this.
We already know the key presses can be done because this is how you perform the Robar scope view trick.
So, open sighted firing is as normal, with a minor slightly random aim modification (in the right to up arc?) that may spoil long range shots. Holding the trigger will fire single, burst, or semi (as appropriate).
If I hold my breath, these rules come in. I get the scope view steadying as normal. If I press and hold the trigger, there is no shot, but instead I begin a slow pull on the trigger. After a sec (or .5 sec), the trigger is a hair away from firing, and the jerk from trigger pull is nullified. When I let go of the trigger, the bullet fires. If I let go of the aim/breathe key, then the bullet will not fire when I let go of the trigger.
I like it.
The two main concerns I have are:
1. How to allow the Robar scope to continue to be visible when you are taking a shot like this. I would think the effort to get this much precision would increase the desire to maintain the view.
2. Make sure that you don't inadvertantly get yourself in aim mode and be unable to make a shot when necessary. As a suggestion, have this only kick in when you have held your breath to the maximum compensation level.
Nice on Turtle.
Hey Yurch, I am led to believe that the above is RA V2 Final? Should I throw this up on the server and consider it final or what? And hows the bulk in this one?
