XMP is coming to UT2004! - Free Monkey Interactive Announces UT XMP

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Am I missing something or is there any news on how the 2k4 mod is coming. I need to know if it is going well or not. Somebody give me hope at least. Is there a website or forum elsewhere that I can use to keep up to date on 2k4XMP. Is this a for sure thing and it is just a matter of time or is this just a pipe dream. Not being negative just anxious

This subject is definitely a nerve racking one for people that love this game; I understand the negative and positive responses, and why people are pessimistic and optimisitc about it; this project has good intentions, and although Free Monkey decided to expand this wonderful game, which I am greatful for, that alone does not establish a solid guarantee success and enjoyment; we just have to have faith in what is being done here. If it is not good; perhaps people will revert back to U2XMP instead and keep that going. The only thing that has me a little bit bothered is me having to purchase UT2k4, a game that I have little interest in, to play this expansion; I would definitely buy it if UTXMP strikes gold with all barrels blazing, but I would most definitely love to see someone make a great expansion that does not require anyone to purchase a game to play it, no serial numbers, keys, nothing. I remember playing Natural Selection, a modification for Half-Life; and from what I could recall, I don't think it was even necessary to even have Half-Life purchased or installed to play it; my memory of this might be flawed, but anyways, if an expansion was made such as this, I feel safe to say that it has the potential to become extremely popular because no one would have to buy another game in order to play it; it would be open to everyone. That's just my half-assed rambling for now I suppose; I take no sides in the crossfiring of opinions, I just wish the best of this project; good luck Free Monkey.
i already went too the gaming guy and bought a copy of 2k4 for the expansion,i have it for 3 weeks now,installed it in the 2nd week and played it for 4 hrs total.
My playdisc is collecting dust at the moment
and sure,i would love too see the monkeys playing the balalaika with some bears but maybe updating the webpage with some pics of the whole team,working areas and game pics.
It's always fun too follow people or developers in their process making an addiction for people

oh btw, if you own ut2k4 and miss flying around, theres a mutator called 'jetpack'. its not quite as nice as xmp's, but i someone could build a better one. it's still pretty damn fun. its at least challenging trying to fly and fight at the same time

Yes i agree we do want some screenies of the in dev proccess.... hey fmi.... can you pleae leak some screenshots soon... we are gettin tired of bein held in suspense.
