Looking forward to seeing your other screenies...

You know what guys? You're right. That is a pretty terrible screenshot. Luckily you can't actually get there in game - i used the "fly" command to get what I thought was an atmospheric, dramatic shot.... now it's in this thread, haha. I've uploaded a couple more screenshots which are actually in-game and hopefully you'll see they are a bit brighter. That'll teach me to use D3D to take my pictures...
This thread really concentrates on the shots. I haven't played the map so I wouldn't make a value judgement there. Keep maping and good luck.....
....at least you've made it into Bot_40's hall of fame. (He started the thread: he is the law). As you can see any shot that ends up here is dubious in one way or the other.
It's just a bit of fun really.
....so welcome and have a nice day.
**Edit**
Hey mapper. Your new screens are still too dark. Like so....
Actually YOU may be having gamma problems with your monitor. If you read this post please note that in these forums there are a lot of expert mappers and such who can give you pointers on calibrating your monitor if you thread your request in the right sub-forum.
I'd suggest connecting with some of them. The screen I've just posted actually looks like it could be interesting (from what I can make out) but it's still way too dark...
.....shame as it actually looks like an interesting map. I must re-install UT sometime soon.....
