There are already two twintower maps. One is made out of respect..

The other .. well...It's not on NC3, but I remember the guy p1mping it on the UT forum.
It's an assault map. I repeat, it's not on NC3. The one you can find is another map, dated january 2000.

Yeah NeoNite. I was pretty offended by that map myself considering what has happened in other people's Real Life. I couldn't even bring myself to leave a comment about that one; and I, personally, am happy NOT to see a screenshot here.

I feel the same way about twin towers maps as well. I don't care if it was supposed to be out of respect, it just doesn't belong in gaming.

Some joke....:(

Well, that ctf map features a so called part of NYC (only it doesn't look like metropolis at all), and the two towers. But that's all there is to. The flagbases are on top of the buildings.
It's that simple. It's a tribute to the twintowers, iirc from the readme.

The other one, however, the assault map.. is offensive.
It features two small towers, daylight setting iirc. Your job is to enter the building by .. plane.

Hmmmmmm; interesting screenshot that one........ it looks like it's made of Rubic's cubes.

Now all that level needs are flashing discolights and an epileptic person ;O)

Btw, to anyone who still has UT installed I recommend downloading ctf-twintowers. The towers reach really high! (Sunspire high).
Falling down is well :D funny as it may seems a special experience (just turn on godmode).
You can also fill the street with tons of titans or skaarj!
Monster war!

The titans are very tiny in this map!

EDIT:

The Neworleans map has been taken down :D
It no longer recides on nc3 :D

I don't see what qualifys this as a bad screen shot. It shows exactally what you see in game...Being old enough to remember when the arcade machine was released I can appreciate this level as it looks very much like the arcade game it is trying to emulate. I think the level was quite well done even if the game play isn't all that exciting.

I can remember when all games looked like this as my first computers were an Apple II and a C64 and my first games console was an Atari. (Do you remember "Missile Command"?) . I was actually making an offhand comment about something else.

Offhand comments... this thread is full of them.

I really think this thread has gone beyond Bot_40's original "Wosrt screenshots". People post here to comment on screenshots good, bad or indifferent.... period; and have some fun.

*Edit* Good, bad, indifferent or "wosrt" are all very subjective elements. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.....

It's funny,but for some reason I guess I lost that type of concern as I get older.
Not out of thinking things arn't bad,but ,it's life, kinda like if it happened to me if in that hurricane,seems someone doing a map about it wouldn't bother me.
But,somthing like portaying columbine would.because it's not a natural disaster.mother nature.
but as the screenshots,that DM-openwater up there,he removed that too,it was his first "joke map"
