WTF does that mean? is that something that Bush said? I hope he calls in the senior Bush for advice. I might be democratic, but i would have some faith in Bush sr. finding the best way to handle the situation, as opposed to the junior bumpkin.
i think mute's probably right, those towers would be a nightmare to evacuate without elevators, lets just hope not.

normal workday start in most of the us is 8am. the financial world general gets going at 9am. but that's because their so hard working and generally in before 9 anyway. i bet you no significant fraction of the 50k people weren't already at their desks.... sigh.
i am getting no work done today at all.

my base closed
they locked down the base where i work and evacuated all 'non key personnel', i never really realized how close i live to dc. and my eyes were on the sky half of my drive to the offbase offices. they parked semis around our offices and blocking the parking areas and have MP's here doing IDs holy ****e.

that it might be a chopper in the petagon is a new possibility. the fact is that a plane flying out of washington is missing, so if it didn't hit the pentagon, where did it go?
what about the 5th plane that the FAA was 'highly concerned' about? noone has said anything about that since 11 so i'm assuming it was a false alarm?
