OMG TEH THREAD SYNTEHSIS!!! I'd post pics from World Wind but the resolution on Paris genuinely SUCKS. It's like they don't care about the French or something ... :p

Oh, and what's that large "beached whale" looking thing north of you, Der?

Since i was too lazy to actually download worldwind, that is a photo from RADARSAT, thus the big white blotches are the metal tracks in the railroad yards

A much higher resolution (2 meter) of where I live, using Google's Keyhole Satellite imaging system. They also have similar resolution images of France, Taque. And if you live in San Diego, 3" resolution that can see what your shoes look like.

I said I was going on a photosafari, and I did. I doubt I could have picked a a more awful time for it though. The fog is terrible and the rest of the pictures I took shows...well..fog. My excuse is I was so terribly bored. Pictures were taken no more than 15 minutes ago.

Anyway. First picture was taken about 100 meters from the house I live in. A large outdoor area where people light up the grill, enjoy a few beers and play soccer until early moring whenever outdoor temperature allows for it. It's also a venue for concerts during summer. It's the place to be if you want to see more or less naked hot girls working on their tan, again, during summer. It was impossible to get a snapshot of the whole area because of the fog, but as you probably have figured out, it all happens "to the left". I decided a snapshot of where people jump into the sea to cool off would have to do. For now.

Second picture basically shows where I and the others living in the area keep keep their boats during summer. No, none of the boats shown are mine. I keep it on land during the winter months. Had it not been for the fog, it would also have shown at least parts of the house I live in. Just behind that yellow building and to the right. Come visit any time.

More terribly exciting and revealing pictures to come as soon as the fog clears.

And here is a picture taken some hours ago, showing some of the interior of the house.

Oh, and the little rascal is my one and a half year old nephew. How the hell did he sneak into that picture...Okay, I admit it. I couldn't help myself. He is such a bundle of fun :)

Where do you think the hot naked chicks are when air temperature is struggeling to get above 0 C and water temperature is around +12 C? Keeping my bed warm, of course!

Not to steer this off topic or anything, but here's a few more taken early this morning.

First one shows the outer harbor area. In a distance you can see the wavebreakers from which I took the "Out there in the fog somewhere is my house"-picture I posted earlier.

Doing a 180 gives you picture number two. I had to brighten it a bit because the early morning sun was creating shadows.

For my next incredibly exciting installment of The Incredibly Exciting City in which Almost Lives, I will show you some pictures of the incredibly exciting city in which I live. You picked up on the sarcasm, right?
