Started reading the Night Soldiers by Alan Furst. So far, I can say that it is a good spy novel.

It appears Lennon was always pretty eccentric, even in the earliest days.

I read the original version of this book decades ago, it's the conspiracy that Dan Brown based The Da Vinci Code on. Mind blowing stuff....

A monumental synthesis of history and conjecture that makes some very explosive and confronting assertions. Dan Brown can thanks these guys for making him a very rich man. I wouldn't recommend anyone read it unless they are prepared to approach the material with a completely open mind....

Well, the lord of the rings. Embarking on that perilous, enchanting journey again. I don't mind the 1000 pages.

As epic poems go, it depends on which translation you read as to how the words, their sound and rhythm were translated from the original Middle Italian. I would like to read the original Italian version at some stage (but my Italian is very poor).

For anyone interested in motorsport it's a brilliant read; a real page-turner. For anyone not interested in motorsport it's a brilliant read as it deals with success; how to be successful in life and how to capitalise on life's opportunities and do business in a correct and positive way. A great read.

I've read the First and Second Chronicles twice and, since The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant are out now, I'm going to reread the originals first and the move onto The Last Chronicles....
