I saw a pigeon today on the way to the post office.
it was mising its hind part. and I don't mean it was missing just the tail feathers, nor do I mean that it was crippled or anything.
it was missing its whole hind part had an open wound all across its body, like some dog had bitten the rear half of it off..
it leaned against the wall of the building, slowly shovelling along, having huge eyes almost popping out, repeatedly nodding its head oddly...
my colleague saw it, too, and it scared the living **** out of her.
weird thing to behold, that....
