Unreal 3 xmp

What the **** do you want us to do? Run up to Atari head office and lick their shoes? Collect spare change in a hat and buy all the rights to XMP? The best way of saving this game is porting it to a new engine that is already well-established.

No, Jackal is right. When I started reading it this forum had a very good community. When XMP first came out, it had the best community I've ever known for a computer game. It's just a shame it went downhill so fast

XMP never had a chance of lasting with no developer support, and so few players right from the start. RGB is not the reason that xmp died, it's just a symptom of the fact that most of the time there are not enough players to play a normal sized map.

so if we get atari to make u3xmp with a good master server the community will last longer. and gecko i'm just sayin that we post somethin on atri forums, its the least we could do :rolleyes: but if u dont care if xmp goes to u3xmp then u dont have to post. thats all

My sentiments exactly :)

Kinda like this thread really... 1 person bitching is not really going to catch the eye or indeed even inspire a multi-millon $ company to create a certain style multiplayer for the said (as of yet un-announced) game. If i worked for midway and saw the crap now posted in this once honourable forum, i would immediately cast off the idea on the basis that it would attract more people like those desperately clinging on here...

XMP is and was fun. But it's days are gone. We have the hard work of the guys at FMI to see XMP through :) So just deal with it and move on...

NEWSFLASH: Legend Ent. made XMP. Legend Ent. is gone. Guess what? Atari doesn't care. FMI does.

doesnt mean that atari wouldnt try makin an xmp. and i've never heard of u b4, what was ur xmp name?

How exactly would a small community like us persuade Atari to make another XMP? Why would Atari even think about listening to a small community like us? Why would you even try?

well we'd never kno if we could do it if we dont try : | i'd try because i've been bored out of my mind w/o xmp and xmp was a very good computer game but with a poor master server, thats was its only flaw.
