Yeah, wierd people are still trying to make this game come to life, it wont happen at all...maybe a few new people here and there everyonce and a while mostly because the game they hate so much (utxmp).
Actually, I think the topic was a stillbirth from the get-go, given the fact that I had to sit and interpret 13-year old to understand wtf he was trying to type.
And as a belated attempt to steer this into "useful" land... Sure, I'd love to see Unreal Engine 3 XMP, but with Conquest/UWarfare borrowing some elements (ie. resource management) (btw, is it just me or does UWarfare seem like the long-lost cousin of WoW Battlegrounds?) so theres a good question as to whether or not it will be really necessary (although I'm dead certain we'll see a Domination or Bombing Run community game type a month after UT2007 hits the shelves). The second question: who'll do it? Right now, FMI I think is the crew to do it, however they're going to need a ton of help since all the assets need to be recreated. Finally, if people aren't happy with UTXMP, then what's the point of even bothering to go for UE3 if the community won't be appreciative?
