Oh dear! now I have a major problem... that all looks great, but I'm out of loadout spots...

Beppo, would it be possible to do a quick fix (perhaps INF2.9 service pack 1 or something) fixing small issues like these... perhaps fixing the ammo type limit too. Eventhough these things seem small, they might be hell to correct, so I'm not insisting more (and I know they have already been put up, but I can't remember what were the conclusion else that a mutator can't fix them).

Anyway, the new additions look great! I know at least one that will be pleased by the last screenshot and it's pistol ;)

It's meant as a small treat for the community . A bonus pack in the form of a mutator. Most of it were already done, but some tweaking were (is) needed in order to make it work well ingame, which Duke has helped doing. It's not going to be something that will be time consuming to tweak or test.

However, I have to say I'm surprised that no one in this observant community has noticed the wierd looking map names or the "INF Bonus Weapons" -mutator on the beta server while looking at the ingame browser. We were taking bets on how long it would take. I lost. Damn you all :p
I did, but I was under orders not to divulge so I didn't :p.

It was a little more than just tweaking to make it work in-game

It was way more work. Duke did a fantastic job and jumped in at a time where we were close to scrap the new weapons altogether cause the modelers were too busy with RL and so not able to export the meshs and anims properly. So all that Duke got to start with was a basic script of the G36k, some additional script files too I guess and the original 3D, anim and texture data. He did the exports, made the scripts needed for all the weapons, ammo, loadoutinfos aso and did a very good fine tuning job for the firing offsets too.
The last couple of days I was fine tuning some of the values and offsets, added new ballistic projectiles aso, corrected some code parts and fixed the online issues with weapon names, the fire mode selection and weapon icon display for add-on weapons.
Map editing, tweaking and testing was done during the last days by me too. So we had a bunch of updates that the rest of the team is checking out too of course.

Without Duke the Bonus pack would 'only' consist of additional maps and would not include a bunch of new weapons. So, a big thanks to Duke for jumping in at the right time!

New Weapons is cool, but whats about to correct the allready existent? We have a new Famas, thats cool, but MP5 needs better sight (I think), also the M16. If M4 will have beter sight, than M16 should have the same.

Adding new stuff is much easier than modifying existing code or models. It might just break anything and cause mismatch errors.

please please please, let the old stuff go. its done, done and i mean done. for every single tiny thing we find wrong the fix does nothing.

dont like the ak? dont use it. go to the prettier stuff with new attachments. love you all, but wanting to fix older stuff that aint broken is just inviting ol'murphy into the house. and infiltration knows murphy way to well.

love everything we've done so far, and playing with it is soooooo much fun. ;) thank you Duke.
