I think she is getting really confused about life right now. That happens in the teenage years. I just wondering if she hit the phase of not seeing her parents for a few months yet? Staying in her bedroom all the time talking on the phone...blah..blah..blah.

Well, lets say there is a cordless phone in the house. Hit the page button and then hit it on the other phone elsewhere in the house. Then you can talk to yourself on the phone.
I've never tried this, but I have a feeling you'd get some nasty feedback if you were too close. Mebbe she'd go deaf then?
