I thought the original ending (Ash ends up sleeping too long) brought teh suck. It was good for one cheap laugh only. The theatrical ending was much better, even though Sam Raimi didn't want to do it.

The best thing about the bootleg version, though, is the extended "little Ashes" scene. "London bridge's falling down, falling down, falling down!"
