Forgot you were from around Bristol Hunter. Few nice places around there for shooting I'd imagine, have never gone there with my SLR though.

well, his camera is one the nicest ones that Canon makes, so that also might have something to do with it.
I doubt it. The camera has nothing to do with making good pictures, it's how you use it that makes the image outstanding or not.

Some of the greatest images I've ever seen have been taken with throw away disposable cameras from Walmart.
