Your computer has nothing to do with 56k .It´s the internetconnection.

InFeRnO you might want to consider http://www.imageshack.us/ as a hosting site for any big pics. That way you can link to images via thumbnails rather than posting / worrying about posting larger pics.

A lot of ppl with slower connections tend to leave a thread that takes some time to load without actually seeing what it's about

You could always use both, InFeRnO - I dunno' how Photobucket works but imageshack lets you use thumbnails which is very handy and I couldn't do without it these days.

My sig was my first ( and only ) attempt but I'm happy enuff with how it turned out
