And none of it can be accessed by anyone who isn't me.

Yea you have to do it in DOS the first time. Linux is the safest place if you have a linux box.

Well, I talked to him and he is forgiven. Not so much for having a porn folder. Although it was hypocritical of him to get upset at me for getting unwanted porn from some goof. But for the weak attempt to lie his way out of trouble. I told him if he had just said, "Yeah, that's my porn folder. So what?" He would have avoided my wraith.

Mostly I am letting him off easy because I want to go out for New Years
