A lot of you know me well in the servers; most of the time I'm happy and cheerful, even when I'm having my butt handed to me, and some times I'm moody but no matter how I feel I always try to be nice to everyone. However, recently, there have been a series of events that have shaken my faith in INF.
As you well know an unofficial little group called dot cat has come into existence. Since it has begun and people started joining there has been a wave of harassment, insults, and TKing... all directed at dot cat in one fashion or another. One question that I have is what is the big deal? Do you guys in the "official" clans feel threatened by dot cat in some way; if not then what is it?
I also found out that recently while I was out of town, someone decided to hijack names and begin TKing under those names... from my understanding mine was one of those names.
Finally, today, Ping and I joined one of the servers with a couple of people playing. I guess they wanted the server all to themselves so they began to insult Ping. I came in a minute later and saw this and asked what was going on. No sooner had I asked this that I too was now the recipient of a series of insults which promptly set me off... just as my ISP dropped my connection... again. So, I didn't get to respond with much of anything... but it made me think about the state of INF at this time.
Now, the last couple of days I have been talking with a couple of people that were thinking of moving on and I was trying to convince them otherwise. Just last night I was convincing one person to stick around a little longer. However, after today’s events I realized that things like this are sucking all the fun out of INF and I began to think that it might be time for me to move on as well. I don't expect many of you guys to care but it would appear as thou very soon I too may be leaving INF. I just hope that things turn around quick because I honestly don't want to have to leave INF but if it continues down the path it's in... I'm out.
